Katie with Boudoir by Kate turned her own body image struggles into a passion for helping others feel empowered through boudoir photography. Boudoir, for her, became a tool for empowerment, self-expression, and self-love. So in a world that often tells us we’re not enough, Katie is here to help her clients embrace who they are. She firmly believes that boudoir is for everyone, regardless of age (with the exception of non-adults), size, color, or gender. Her style, described as moody, sensual, and empowering, reflects this mission. And she invites her clients to celebrate their bodies exactly as they are, capturing stunning moments that highlight their unique beauty!

Services Offered

Katie offers a luxurious, full-service boudoir experience. Each session includes professional hair and makeup, giving clients a chance to relax and feel pampered before the shoot begins. She will never ask a client to do anything they are uncomfortable with. She helps her clients feel confident by hyping them up during their session while playing some sexy tunes from the moment the client walks in the door. I love that the experience is fully guided, with Katie showing clients how to pose and ensuring they feel comfortable every step of the way. Also, the session takes place in her luxury studio in Westminster, equipped with six unique sets, plush rugs, satin sheets, furs, and even a vintage cast iron tub from 1931!

What makes Boudoir by Kate stand out? Her commitment to creating a safe and judgement free environment. She will NEVER post any of the images without written permission. And will NEVER pressure a client to sign a model release. Boudoir is a very personal and vulnerable experience. Katie leaves it completely up to her clients how much they would like to share. In addition, Katie sends each client a personalized outfit guide. The guide includes flattering color palettes, shopping recommendations, and creative ideas to incorporate personal style. Whether it’s a partner’s sports jersey or a vintage piece passed down through generations, she loves showcasing her clients’ unique looks. From a pre-session questionnaire to in-depth posing guidance, she ensures every client feels confident and supported. Plus, her retainer fee is applied to any collection, streamlining the process for her clients.
