Brookside Gardens wedding venue was founded in 2009 when a family decided they wanted to take their home and the surrounding land and turn it into an event center. They went to work transforming the property, planting a breathtaking garden, and opening up the interior. Shortly after, they started to work with Origins Catering, a family-owned company that had become known for creating some pretty legendary meals. In 2019, the owners of Brookside decided it was time to retire and handed the reins over to Origins. Today, the venue continues to provide couples with extraordinary days elevated by delicious meals.
Details of the Grounds
With Brookside Gardens, you can host every second of your wedding celebrations on the grounds. Your day will start out in one of the two preparation suites where you can get ready alongside your wedding party. For your ceremony, you will have your choice of an indoor or outdoor service. For those who choose an outdoor wedding, you will use The Ceremony Halo in the center of the grounds. This structure is massive, stretching over the entirety of the paved ceremony area. There are lush plants on the grounds surrounding this area. If you would prefer an indoor ceremony, you can use the intimate Fireside Room, where you will exchange vows in front of the stone fireplace.
The venue has a designated indoor bar where your guests can grab a drink during your cocktail hour. Then, it will be time for the reception in the Garden Side Solarium. This room offers floor-to-ceiling windows that invite the outdoors in while still providing you with climate control. Brookside Gardens can host up to 300 guests.
Photography Opportunities
With Brookside Gardens, you will want to spend plenty of time in the gardens for your wedding portraits! They have several spots that have been landscaped specifically for portraits. The Plaza Arbor tends to be a favorite spot for first-look pictures. You can head over to the waterfall and get pictures near the brook. I am also partial to using the iron staircases near the house for couple’s portraits.
Wedding Details
With Brookside Gardens, you will have all your wedding food provided through Origins Catering. The venue will work with you to create a menu that is ideal for your celebration. They will take care of the tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware. They will also handle set-up and breakdown.
