There’s a reason why golf courses have become such popular spots for weddings. These positively scenic spaces know how to take every luxury and make sure they are within reach. From exquisite views to knowledgeable staff members, you are going to have all you need for a stress-free event. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I get the chance to tour some pretty exceptional wedding spaces. If you are on the search for a venue, I would love to tell you why you should consider a Sanctuary Golf Course wedding.

While Sanctuary Golf Course might seem like a standard country club, I can assure you it’s not! The course is owned by Dave and Gail Liniger, the co-founders of RE/MAX. They wanted to create a golf course–they had decided on that much at least–but they weren’t quite sure what to do with it. The duo wasn’t sold on the idea of a public course nor on that of a country club. They compromised by making a space that’s invite-only. The result is an exclusive and opulent space with tons of options for your wedding.
Sanctuary Golf Course is going to serve as your one-stop destination during your wedding day. When you arrive, you can head to the separate, private locker rooms where you can get ready for the day. Once you have your look and are done with your candid pictures, it’s time for the ceremony. For this portion, you will definitely want to take advantage of the outdoors by using the Pavilion. This open-air space is covered without obstructing the views.
As you exchange your vows, you will have Pikes Peak as your backdrop. For your cocktail hour, your guests can head to the deck of the clubhouse, where they can sip on delicious drinks prepared by the bartenders. Once it’s time for your reception, you will have two options. If you want to keep the entire event outside, you can use the Pavilion, or you can head inside, where you will have a stunning spot for dinner and dancing. This venue is ready to host up to 150-200 guests.
Okay, as a photographer, I simply HAVE to talk about the photo potential for this space. Trust me, there are tons. The golf course gives you an accessible way to walk around and take full advantage of the countless views. The balcony and the deck will be ideal for family and group pictures. I also really love the outdoor covered porches for wedding party pics. You get all the natural light while celebrating all the clubhouse’s details! It’s a win/win!
Sanctuary Golf Course is going to give you the hook-ups for your wedding. First of all, these are some of the best food in Colorado, and they work with you to build the ideal menu. I’m not just saying that either. All the reviews rave about how delicious the food is! Your guests are going to enjoy complimentary valet parking, and you are going to have coordination services throughout the entire shindig. They are going to have small details covered, including flatware, glassware, linens, cake cutting, and coffee/tea services.
