While The Pinery at the Hill wedding venue might seem like a beacon of luxury, it wasn’t always that way. One afternoon, as Mitchell Yellen was cruising down I-25, he looked over and saw a run-down building. He pulled up and walked around it when he felt divine intervention calling him to purchase it. Starting in 2008, he worked tirelessly to completely renovate the space, and in 2013, it was opened for business. Today, it stands as one of the most beloved venues in Colorado Springs.
Details of the Grounds
With The Pinery at the Hill, every ounce of your wedding day will be filled with luxury. Your celebration will start in the dressing suites. Brides have The Evergreen Suite with light jade walls, crown molding, and a marble fireplace. On the opposite end of the venue is The Groom’s Suite, where guys will have a masculine yet elegant spot to get ready.
For your ceremony, you will have two options. For those who prefer the outdoors, the Veranda is for you. With its Tuscan-inspired architecture and its views of the mountains, this is a space your guests will remember for years to come. If you would prefer climate control for the interior, The Chapel is for you. This room has vaulted ceilings, rustic wood accents, and windows that let in all the sites.
The Veranda makes for an exceptional cocktail hour space. Your guests can go order cocktails before lounging in furniture and taking in the mountains.
For your reception, you will have several options. Intimate dinners can use the Bella Vista Ballroom with its arched windows, polished wood paneling, and spiral staircase. For larger parties, the Cascade Ballroom is the place! This room ties in the aesthetic of the Bella Vista Ballroom while giving you a more open layout. You will be able to host up to 225 guests.
Photography Opportunities
There are several spots at The Pinery At The Hill I always recommend for your wedding portraits. The sunny Evergreen Suite is ideal for candid shots with your bridal party. Meanwhile, the groom will have a private deck where we can snap tons of individual pics. The Veranda is going to be a great spot for everything from romantic portraits to group photos. Those views are going to shine, but you are still going to be the star of the show!
Wedding Details
In addition to the stunning backdrop, The Pinery At The Hill has wedding packages to ensure you have everything you need for your celebration. If you choose their all-inclusive package, they are going to provide staffing, flowers, drinks, food, linens, and a DJ. They have other packages that let you pick and choose what you want. Your guests will be able to park on the grounds for added convenience.
