Cherry Valley Venue | French Country Charm in Colorado

Cherry Value Venue
Artist Rendition from Cherry Valley Venue Website

I have to tell you all about this new venue in the Denver area! If you’re searching for a wedding location that feels elegant, peaceful, and super unique, Cherry Valley Venue is one of those places that immediately grabs your attention. Construction is so close to being finished, it’ll be up and ready for weddings in 2026! So there is still time to book your wedding here! I recently went and checked it out and let me tell you, it is going to be absolutely gorgeous. It sits on a historic piece of land in Franktown with wide-open views, rolling hills, and a quiet charm. The venue feels worlds away from the busy parts of Colorado, but close enough so that your guests won’t have to drive for hours. The whole space blends French-country inspiration with natural beauty, creating an atmosphere that’s both grand and intimate at the same time.

Cherry Valley Venue was founded because there was a clear need for a unique, French country inspired, romantic space that didn’t exist locally — a venue that felt fresh and elevated while still honoring the land and scenery around it. And from the moment you drive up, that intention shows. The textures, the colors, the layout, the views… everything works together in a way that feels thoughtful and seamless!

One detail couples always mention is the view from the main reception space. It’s gorgeous in photos, but in person it hits differently — a soft, sweeping landscape that wraps your whole celebration in calm Colorado light.

About the Venue

Cherry Valley Venue sits on land homesteaded in 1874. The venue’s foundation was once part of the barn that was on the homestead! I could go on and on, but I don’t want to bore you with too many details. Please check out the place yourself! As for the vibe/feel of the venue, the style is light and airy feeling, refined, and cozy.

Because the property is spacious and intentionally designed, couples and guests never feel crowded. Everything flows naturally from one part of the day to the next, and the entire space is reserved for one wedding.

Details of the Grounds

Ceremony Options

You have several beautiful choices for your ceremony at Cherry Valley Venue, and each one feels peaceful and connected to nature.

Outdoor Ceremony: The outdoor ceremony space is right outside of the venue. And takes advantage of the wide-open views across the farmland. You get that gorgeous Colorado horizon, soft rolling hills, with an awesome view of Pikes Peak in the background!

Indoor Ceremony: If the weather shifts, indoor ceremonies work beautifully too. The main indoor space is surrounded by large open windows and offers views of Pikes Peak and surrounding farmland. It’s warm, cozy, and elegant — a true backup plan that feels just as intentional as the outdoor option.

Reception Space

For the reception, couples typically celebrate inside the historic barn. This isn’t your typical rustic barn — it’s fully updated, climate-controlled, and designed with French-country elegance in mind. Think soft lighting, warm textures, and plenty of space for dining, toasts, and a dance floor that actually fits your people.

Just outside is a large patio that overlooks the pond and surrounding property. It’s the perfect place to sneak out for sunset portraits or give your guests a little fresh air between courses.

Cocktail Hour & Guest Flow

Cocktail hour almost always takes place on the patio or near the barn’s outdoor entrance. Because the space faces the views, guests get that “wow” moment as soon as they step outside. The layout also keeps everyone close together without feeling cramped, and transitions into dinner feel smooth and natural.

Getting Ready Spaces

Cherry Valley Venue includes a beautiful suite that inside the main space feels like its own little retreat. It’s bright, stylish, and practical — complete with hair and makeup stations, a private restroom, and lounge seating so your crew can relax while you get ready. The soft light and curated decor also make it perfect for detail photos. The fiancé suite is in a different building right next to the main building (construction is still being done obviously, but I couldn’t wait to talk all about it!

Photography Opportunities

I personally visited the space and can confidently say that Cherry Valley Venue has so many amazing photo opportunities. because you get a ton of variety without ever needing to leave the property. Every major part of the venue is within walking distance, which keeps your timeline smooth and relaxed.

Some favorite spots include:

  • The 113-year-old barn — amazing textures, warm tones, and cozy vibes

  • Expansive mountain views that give a romantic, airy feel to portraits

  • The pond and patio area, especially during golden hour

  • The bridal suite, which is bright and styled beautifully for detail shots

  • Rolling farmland, perfect for wide, scenic couple photos

There’s something special about how the natural light settles over the property — soft, even, and flattering. Your sunset photos here will look like a painting.
