Stone Mountain Lodge is a no-nonsense venue that knows how to throw a pretty epic celebration! Located in Lyons, this venue offers a secluded spot where you can find your happily ever after. This is truly a spot for the adventurous! They offer cozy cabins with nearby hiking trails that run alongside the North St. Vrain River. Whether you want a quiet celebration with your friends and family or you want to spend the weekend exploring the area, they have the perfect thing!
Details of the Grounds
When you plan your Stone Mountain Lodge wedding, I highly recommend renting a cabin or two for your day. This is going to give you a convenient spot where you can get ready the morning of your wedding. You can have your stylists meet you on the premises, or you can get ready in town before setting up camp near the wedding site.
For your wedding, you will get married at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The venue offers a lush, flat field with grassy hills just beyond the arbor. With this space, there won’t be a bad seat to be found!
Once your ceremony is over, your guests can go and grab drinks while playing yard games just outside the open-air shelter. For your reception, the venue will offer an event tent where your guests can feast before it’s time to hit the dance floor! The venue will be able to host up to 150 guests.

For your wedding portraits, you will be able to explore the Stone Mountain Lodge grounds and find private places perfect for stealing a quick kiss. The nearby fields are the ideal spot for a wildly romantic first-look picture. I adore using the wedding site for group portraits. Stone Mountain Lodge is going to make sure you have all you need for the ideal day! They will take care of the tables and the chairs, plus they can handle the set-up. You will have access to the grounds for 10 hours the day of your wedding. There will be an on-site facility coordinator to help with the timeline. They offer preferred vendors but let you choose whoever you’d like for an additional fee.
